Predicting Trends

About the show

As the founder of the Trends Research Institute, Gerald Celente is well respected for his track record of picking business, consumer, political, and economic trends before they come to pass. In his very first appearance on C2C, Celente discussed worrying trends in the US and world economy, the decline of the U.S. educational system, and what Celente calls the five "O's": overpopulation, overproduction, open markets, overcapacity, and the online revolution.

Celente told Art that he was mostly concerned with the quickly changing character of those who determine our cultural and economic future. He also predicted that if there was a revolution in the United States it would come from the "Timothy McVeigh paramilitary types." He mentioned that he is most worried about "another terrorist attack that will cause a global depression."

The first hour was taken up with news and Open Lines.
