In Coast You Missed It 6/5/20

The UFO phenomenon, Shadow People, and alien abductions were among the fascinating topics explored this past week on Coast to Coast AM. And, here at the C2C website, we told you about a monstrous landslide wiping out a neighborhood in Norway, the discovery of a dinosaur's last meal, and an unearthed Nazi diary that may lead to a huge cache of treasure. Check out our round-up of highlights from the past week ... In Coast You Missed It.

UFOs were a hot topic of conversation this past week on Coast to Coast AM with several guests offering unique perspectives on the phenomenon. On Saturday night's program, esoteric researcher Jonny Enoch discussed a mysterious incident in Brazil last month that some suspect was a UFO crash. Filmmaker David Sereda shared his analysis of the US Navy pilot/Pentagon UFO videos which have dominated headlines in recent years on Tuesday night's program. And, on Thursday evening, Moira McGhee recounted strange UFO and creature sightings from Australia.

A pair of creatures that vanished from this planet long ago reached out across time to pop up in the news cycle this past week. First, in Wales, a pair of brothers walking along a beach unearthed a massive horn that once belonged to a now-extinct type of wild cattle known as an auroch, which roamed the region thousands of years ago. Meanwhile, scientists studying a mummified dinosaur announced that its remarkably well-preserved stomach still contained the ancient beast's last meal.

The alien abduction phenomenon took center stage on Wednesday night's program as Nigel Watson detailed his research into these troubling encounters with extraterrestrials. He noted that the Betty and Barney Hill case is particularly intriguing as, unlike so many other reports that have followed, their experience involved two people being taken by ETs rather than just one. Watson also talked about the legendary Travis Walton incident, pioneering researchers like Budd Hopkins, and curious aspects of the phenomenon, such as missing time, which have emerged over the years.

Another display of Mother Nature's enormous power unfolded this week over in Norway when a massive landslide carried an entire neighborhood out to sea. During the jaw-dropping event, a huge chunk of land broke away from the shoreline of a coastal community and took eight homes with it as it crumbled into the water. Fortunately, no one was injured during the bizarre incident as it was something of a slow-moving disaster and residents were able to scramble away to safety.

What is the nature of Shadow People and do they wish to do us harm? Those worrisome questions were explored on Sunday night's program as demonologist Nathaniel Gillis provided his take on these mysterious beings. He posited that these entities are not a modern phenomenon and, in fact, can be actually be traced back to the Bible, where they called 'shades.' Chillingly, he called them "the most evil entities out there" and warned that they are evolving. During his appearance, Gillis also talked about ghosts, demonic possession, and his experience growing up in a haunted house.

The hunt for lost Nazi treasure in Europe appeared to receive a major boost this week when it was revealed that a recently unearthed diary from a Third Reich officer contained the locations of 11 caches of gold, religious relics, and stolen artwork hidden throughout Poland. Sounding almost too fantastic to be true, the journal also came with a literal treasure map leading to a well on the grounds of a palace where, it is claimed, a whopping 30 tons of gold are buried. Time will tell whether the mysterious journal is a breakthrough or a bust.
