Ann Winsper is an independent researcher and psychical phenomenologist who investigates hauntings and paranormal experiences from the perspective of the person who has had the experience. She specializes in the phenomenon of time slips, events where ordinary people describe themselves as having apparently slipped back in time to a previous era. According to Winsper, these events are generally, although not always, short-lived and are often not passive experiences but include interaction between the experiencer and people they encounter during the experience.
