Biography:

Dr. Karen Felzer is a research geophysicist with the United States Geological Survey (USGS). Karen has been studying earthquake activity since 1994 and received her PhD from Harvard in 2003. The main focus of her job is to provide research of earthquake statistics and the triggering of aftershocks for the increased understanding of earthquake activity.
