Future Events

About the show

Nostradamus expert and prophecy scholar John Hogue returned to the program to tell us what may be next in our near and uncertain future. He views the period of May 2013 through December 2014 as a "breath before a new plunge in the quickening of history." This window represents the end of a 28-year cycle, with Saturn's returning passage through Scorpio, which has a significant effect on the United States, he said. As karmic bills come due, and systemic flaws (such as climate change) are understood, America will be assessing the kind of future it wants during this time, he explained. If people delay reform and change, then we'll set into motion unconscious behaviors that will plague us during the 2015-2025 period, he continued.

In writing published in July, using astrological methods, Hogue correctly predicted that chemical weapons would be used in Syria. Yet, he believes there isn't definitive evidence that the Assad regime was behind the attacks. He forecasts that eventually we'll learn that the Free Syrian army was stealing the chemical weapons from the Assad army, and that it was al Qaeda/jihadist elements within the Free Syrian army who were trying to create a 'false flag' event to induce the Obama administration to act.

In the short term, America will use Israel to get into a full scale war with Syria through the air from this October through November, he predicted. He further foresees Assad being deposed in 2014, and the world being pushed into a Middle East war that could climax in the 2015-2016 time frame-- Syria is step one, Iran is step two, he noted. Hogue also discussed some of Nostradamus' quatrains, including who the third Antichrist "Mabus" might be, as well as how the Blue Star Kachina in Hopi prophecy could be Comet ISON (coming later this year) or Apophis arriving in 2026.

Turmeric Update

First hour guest, researcher Christian Wilde shared updates on Alzheimer's, cancer, and the supplement turmeric. There are more than 560 health conditions that can benefit from the use of turmeric, and Natural News called it "the most studied and documented photochemical in modern science," he reported. Rates for the top four cancers in the United States are 10 times higher than in India, where the spice turmeric (curcumin) is popularly consumed in curries. According to Wilde, many of cancer's inflammatory pathways are inhibited by curcumin (see chart). Turmeric usage may also play a role in reducing Alzheimer's and dementia by lowering the build-up of plaque in the brain, he added.
