Alternative Health / Witchcraft & Animal Communication

About the show

In the first half, pharmacist Ben Fuchs discussed the ability to achieve healing and good health through natural remedies and supplements. Speaking of Parkinson's, he said the disease is often marked by shaking, which is linked to a deficiency in dopamine, a reward chemical in the brain. He stressed the importance of addressing the root causes of chronic diseases rather than merely treating symptoms, stating, "All disease is cell disease... but all cell disease begins in the blood." Fuchs added that "dirty blood" is caused by toxins entering the bloodstream through a compromised gut, a condition he referred to as "leaky gut syndrome."

Fuchs highlighted the alarming trend of people experiencing health deterioration as early as their 30s or 40s. "Our bodies are healing and regenerating systems... they just need raw materials," he said, referring to essential nutrients. He also advocated for a holistic approach to health, emphasizing the need to build connective tissue to combat aging and degenerative conditions. He addressed listener questions, including one about Raynaud's syndrome (where extremities like the fingers and toes overreact to cold or stress). Fuchs connected the condition to digestive health and recommended essential fatty acids as a natural anti-inflammatory. For more, check out Ben's new podcast with Dave Michael, "The Mineral Way."

In the latter half, paranormal investigator and American witch Melissa St. Hilaire shared her journey into witchcraft, as well as her explorations of mediumship, animal communication, and ET contact. Raised in Massachusetts, she was introduced to nature magic by her grandmother and began reading Tarot at age 12. She believes the misconceptions and stigma about witchcraft stem from a desire for control, stating, "When it comes to being a witch, we have a direct connection to source," and it's hard to control a person when they have that. St. Hilaire described her practice as eclectic, focusing on nature and personal empowerment. "For me, it's all about being one with nature... and being in control of your own fate." She explained her stance on spell crafting, equating it to "prayer with fun accessories," and emphasized her commitment to positive intentions.

Discussing the role of deceased pets, she noted that signs from the afterlife often come in the form of animals, who can appear as psychopomps or soul guides. She delved into her experiences with extraterrestrial communication, recalling a moment where she felt she was contacted by cosmic beings during a dark period in her life. St. Hilaire also touched on her role in paranormal investigations and her ability to sense EMF before detectors pick it up, which helps to identify paranormal activity and pick out spots to record EVPs (electronic voice phenomena). During the last hour, she gave readings regarding callers' deceased pets.
