Ghost to Ghost 2010

About the show

On our annual Halloween-night "Ghost to Ghost AM" show for 2010, listeners shared their personal ghost stories and paranormal experiences. Arisha from Santa Maria described her house having a room that "was very, very cold always" where a ghost named Nellie was present. A caller from Granite City, Illinois, also mentioned "cold spots in the house" along with different smells. People also reported being touched, such as Arisha's husband, and a caller named Dave's mother experienced "fingerprints left on her arms” from something touching her.

Stories of apparitions ranged from a "black dog with glowing yellow eyes" to an "image at the bathroom door" that looked like the caller’s wife. Others described poltergeist activity including a swinging chandelier, dishes being moved, and plates flying off a table. Multiple callers reported animals reacting to unseen presences, such as a German shepherd appearing after its death, and a husky whimpering and avoiding a certain area.

Art warned against using mirrors for summoning and Ouija boards, suggesting they "invite the possibility of a real danger.” Some callers described dreams that foretold future deaths. Art and the listeners discussed why spirits might be attached to physical locations, objects, or people, especially after an unexpected or violent death. Many callers described intense fear and how these experiences changed their beliefs, even if they were initially skeptical. Some even said they eventually "got used" to the phenomena.
