Biography:
The first Filipina-American author in the genre of supernatural thrillers, Anna Maria Manalo is the recipient of the prestigious Denis Diderot grant as a literary artist in residence at Chateau D'Orquivaux in France. She writes memoirs in the style of creative nonfiction and scribes fiction novels based on true accounts. A former screenwriter, Anna placed in the top ten in several competitions and as a quarterfinalist in Hollywood for her screenplays based on case files as a UFO investigator. She has traveled to over twenty-seven countries, encountering fellow tourists who share encounters involving the macabre, the unknown, and with negative entities.
Anna's extensive knowledge of the nature of evil began with a personal encounter as a child with a Mothman-like demonic infestation which resulted in her father's tragic suicide in the Philippines. Highly rated for her cinematic storytelling and suspenseful pacing, Anna places the reader in the front seat with her gripping novels and anthologies.
