Biography:

Bethan Jones is an academic and writer, interested in fan culture, cult television, true crime and hatred and dislike in online spaces. She has written about Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Fifty Shades of Grey, Harry Potter and Twin Peaks, and her work has appeared in various publications including Medium, The Learned Fangirl, The Routledge Companion to Media Fandom, Litro, Transformative Works and Cultures, Fic: Why Fanfiction is Taking Over the World, A Companion to Fandom and Fan Studies and Deletion. Bethan has been a fan of The X-Files since it first aired in the UK and The Truth is Still Out There: Thirty Years of The X-Files is her first single-authored book.
