Elizabeth Greenwood

Biography:

Elizabeth Greenwood is the author of the nonfiction book Playing Dead, about people who have faked their own deaths and the world of pseudocide. The New York Times calls it "grim fun" and Booklist says it's "entertaining and enlightening." Her writing has appeared in The Believer and the digital editions of The New Yorker, The Atlantic and VICE. She teaches creative nonfiction at Columbia University.
