Janna Levin is a brilliant and quirky cosmologist. Unlike the majority of her contemporaries, she believes that the universe is finite and this claim has led to a great deal of controversy within the scientific community.
She is currently a Research Fellow in Astrophysics at Oxford and was recently an Advanced Fellow in the Department of Applied Mathematics and Theoretical Physics at Cambridge University. She holds a Ph.D. from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and worked previously at the Canadian Institute for Theoretical Astrophysics and the Center for Particle Astrophysics at the University of California, Berkeley.
Art spoke with Professor of Physics and Astronomy, Dr. Janna Levin, about a variety of physics- and cosmology-related topics, including the evolution of the universe, its accelerating expansion and possible end in a fatal contraction. More »
