Biography:

Denver Nicks is an award-winning journalist, producer, and an incorrigible traveler. A former staff writer for TIME, he is a contributor to National Geographic Travel, Rolling Stone, Uproxx, and other publications. He's the author of the books Hot Sauce Nation: America's Burning Obsession and PRIVATE: Bradley Manning, WikiLeaks, and the Biggest Exposure of Official Secrets in American History, and he's currently at work on his third book, about Lyons v. Oklahoma, a pivotal case in the career of Supreme Court justice and civil rights icon Thurgood Marshall. Nicks won a silver prize at 2017 North American Travel Journalists Association Awards.
