Ron Nielsen

Biography:

Captain Ron Nielsen has helped thousands of fearful flyers since 1987. He is an internationally recognized fear of flying expert.
Graduate of the Air Force Academy and completing a tour in Vietnam, and an internationally recognized fear of flying expert, Nielsen accumulated over 20,000 hours during his career as a commercial pilot flying a Boeing 737. Flying was always his passion; now he devotes his time and energy to helping other people be able to fly. His love of aviation and curiosity about the role of psychology in pilot performance led him to an M.A. in Professional Counseling and a Certificate of Advanced Studies in Human Resources

Neilsen has also designed and delivered programs to reduce the likelihood of aviation accidents due to human error. His knowledge of people combined with his knowledge of airplanes have helped him develop strategies for fearful flyers to successfully manage their fears. Through his live classes and webinars, he has restored confidence to thousands who are now flying again.
