Barbara Pomar conducted her first regression in 1972. Barbara received her BS in Business with emphasis in Finance from Salisbury State College, Salisbury, Maryland in 1983. Ten years later she received her Master's Degree in Psychology from Salisbury State University. Then she received her doctorate in Clinical Hypnotherapy from Atlantic Pacific University in Hawaii.
While in Maryland, she taught classes in Past Life Theory, Meditation and Dream Interpretation, as well as leading an Edgar Cayce Study Group and writing columns for various publications.
