Author David Icke shared his contention that a hidden power elite is orchestrating events in order to control the populace. He cited the 9-11 attacks as an example of this, suggesting that this group provides a set-up of "problem, reaction, solution," so they can move closer to their goal of a one-world government.

In fact, Icke estimated that the United Nations would be overthrown within a few years and replaced by a fully fledged world government. The hidden elite don't want freedom, but rather a "global version of Nazi Germany...a society based on psychological fascism," he warned. "They want total control of the planet," which in the end goes into other dimensions that are beyond our five senses, he explained.

Icke also cautioned about the coming technology of human microchip implantation which may be given a positive spin to the public.The microchip agenda is the "jewel in the crown," as it allows for external control of our physical and emotional processes, he said. Icke posited an Orwellian scenario in which children would be "chipped" from the moment of birth and messages could be sent into the chips to manipulate behavior and thought.
