Ancient Forces & Modern Events / Remote Viewing & UFOs

About the show

In the first half, author Jonathan Cahn discussed ancient spiritual forces and their connection to contemporary global events. He began by describing his personal journey from atheism to profoundly believing in biblical prophecy after he narrowly escaped death twice, which he interpreted as divine intervention. Cahn now insists end-time predictions are manifesting in current events: "I don't know that a day goes by where I don't see more and more and more," he said.

He argued that ancient gods are not merely mythological figures, but real spiritual entities influencing political and cultural spheres worldwide. "There are spiritual things at work. There are mysteries at work. There are prophecies at work," Cahn stated. He pointed to geopolitical alliances, such as those between Russia, China, Iran, North Korea, and others, as fulfilling biblical prophecies, particularly citing the books of Ezekiel and Revelation. He noted, "One of the biggest signs is that Israel is going to reappear in the world and the Jewish people are going to be gathered from the ends of the earth, and the world is going to be against Israel."

A significant portion of the discussion centered on what Cahn called the Template of the Kings, an ancient biblical pattern of Israel's monarchs that he said foreshadowed modern American leaders and events. He claimed that figures such as Bill Clinton, Barack Obama, Hillary Clinton, and Donald Trump correspond to the lives of specific ancient kings and queens. For example, he noted that Bill Clinton's 22 years on the national stage matched exactly with the reign of an ancient king associated with scandal.

In the second half, author and remote viewer Paul Smith explored the connection between remote viewing and UFOs. Smith holds a PhD in philosophy, with a focus on consciousness and parapsychology, and he served seven years in the military's secretive remote viewing unit known as Stargate. He described how he was recruited into the program by chance, moving to Fort Meade and meeting key personnel involved in remote viewing without initially knowing what it was. After passing psychological tests, he was invited to join the unit, where he learned that the military trained individuals to become "psychic spies." Smith emphasized that remote viewing is a skill anyone can learn, comparing it to learning to read: "We are all born with the ability to read... We just have to acquire the skill."

Regarding the link between UFOs and remote viewing, Smith highlighted an early case in the 1970s when remote viewer Pat Price identified four alleged UFO bases worldwide, including one at Mount Hayes, Alaska. Price's descriptions were later corroborated by intelligence contacts familiar with UFO activity in those areas. Smith also recounted his own viewing session of the Mount Hayes base, describing it as a "maintenance base" with "alien maintenance guys" who seemed tired and bored, similar to human military personnel on tedious assignments. This session's sketches closely matched those made by Pat Price decades earlier.

Smith shared insights from his conversations with fellow remote viewer Hal Puthoff about the nature of aliens. When asked whether aliens are benevolent or hostile, he said Puthoff's view was sobering: "They're probably more like Independence Day," referencing the hostile aliens from the film, rather than a friendly ET. However, Smith added that "there are some that seem to be neutral."
