Natural Remedies / Paranormal & Life After Death

About the show

In the first half, pharmacist Ben Fuchs discussed nutrition and wellness, emphasizing the foundational importance of maintaining good health. He highlighted the role of supplementation, natural remedies, and other natural strategies that enhance the body's innate capacity to heal. He described essential fatty acids, particularly Omega-3 and Omega-6, as "nature's aspirin, nature's statin drugs," with critical roles in reducing inflammation, supporting skin health, and aiding cognitive function.

The conversation also covered hydration and its often underestimated impact on health. Fuchs noted that dehydration can cause chronic pain, fatigue, and even food cravings, and recommended drinking 32 ounces of water first thing in the morning to help "fluidize your blood" and support blood sugar regulation, especially for diabetics.

Regarding atrial fibrillation (Afib), a type of arrhythmia or abnormal heartbeat, Fuchs was critical of conventional medical treatments, including beta blockers, calcium channel blockers, and ablation. Instead, he recommended oxygenation through slow, deep breathing, moderate exercise, and blood sugar control. Magnesium supplementation was also underscored as valuable for cardiovascular health. Addressing kidney health, Fuchs identified high blood sugar as the leading cause of kidney disease, urging listeners to adopt a ketogenic diet, reduce fast-burning carbohydrates, and stay hydrated.

In the latter half, writer, director, and producer Paul Davids shared his personal journey into the world of the paranormal, including his discovery of an anomalous family photo from 1940. He recounted his close relationship with Forrest J. Ackerman, the "father of sci-fi," who remained a skeptic about life after death and UFOs despite his involvement in the genre. After Ackerman's death in 2008, Davids experienced unexplained phenomena that inspired him to create three feature documentaries exploring life after death, which have garnered significant online viewership. He recounted several episodes that indicated evidence for survival after death, as well as his experiments with AI to simulate communication with a deceased friend.

Delving into the mysterious 1940 photo taken at his parents' engagement, he noted that upon digitization decades later, it revealed the faces of two children floating between his parents-- children who resembled Davids and his sister as young kids, despite neither being born at the time. Multiple photography experts, including a Pixar technical specialist, failed to provide an explanation, and Davids suggested that it may represent a "time travel situation" or evidence of life beyond death.

On UFO disclosure, he discussed his role in the 1994 Showtime Roswell film, lamenting its suppression despite critical acclaim and a star-studded cast. He praised the recent documentary "The Age of Disclosure" for featuring military witnesses. "This culture of silence about it in the military… has finally begun to be broken down through the hearings," he remarked, though explicit alien evidence remains absent. Davids also mentioned his latest documentary on the subject, "UFO/UAP Briefing for America's Rocket Pioneers."
