Documenting Close Encounters

About the show

Dr. Ellen Crystall, the author of "Silent Invasion," spoke about her years of UFO encounters and her photo documentation of the sightings. She recalled visiting Hollywood, CA, in 1971 and being told UFOs were appearing "nearly nightly." After a while, they came closer to the point where she could "see the aliens inside the craft." In 1980, she traveled to the town of Pine Bush in upstate New York to see where the ships were landing. At this point, she began to take photos.

Crystall said she saw strangely colored lights in her photos, but that she needed guidance from photo specialists to realize what she was witnessing, which included wavelengths of light that the human eye couldn't see that revealed apparent beings. Claiming that she actually touched the surface of a few UFOs while they landed, she revealed that when the craft gets close, "you realize it's a machine, and a very sophisticated machine." During close encounters, she recalled the aliens had "very large yellow eyes" that wrapped around to the ear, and "you could see the emotion coming from the eyes."

Further, she sensed "a power greater than I could ever know," and with all her encounters, she doubted that she was an abductee because she didn't recall much missing time, and the symptoms that usually indicate abduction hadn't manifested in her encounters. The first and last hours featured news and Open Lines.
