Kirsten Blackburn grew up in Silicon Valley in the 1970s, where her grandfather worked in space/defense programs at Lockheed Martin. At the age of twelve, she and her family moved to Orcas Island, WA where they lived and worked at a Theosophical Retreat Center. There she was surrounded by healers, clairvoyants, spiritualists, and Theosophical educators. As a teenager, she was taught the fundamentals of Therapeutic Touch ("TT") by Dora Kunz and Dolores Krieger. She graduated from Cornish College of the Arts, Seattle, WA after attending the Theatre Conservatory Program and went on to work in independent film and TV production.

Since September 2019, she has been working for renowned UFO researcher/historian Richard Dolan on his website, Richard Dolan Members. This is where she met Jay King and Stuart Davis and together they founded The Experiencer Group. Kirsten has had a lifelong obsession with UFOs, high strangeness, and the paranormal ever since she witnessed an "Angel Hair Event" at the age of seven. She now lives in New York City.
