Nicholas Tampio

Nicholas Tampio

Biography:

Nicholas Tampio teaches political science at Fordham University in New York City. He is the author of many books and articles in political theory. He started to research education policy after the Common Core transformed his oldest son's kindergarten experience. His book on the Common Core argues that the standards themselves lead to an inferior education based on regurgitating evidence from a text. He thinks that his kids, and all kids, deserve better, and his book provides a roadmap for how this is possible.
