Student Loans/ Spirit Guides

About the show

Alan Collinge is the founder of StudentLoanJustice.Org, and an outspoken advocate for the millions of Americans whose lives have been ruined by unconscionable practices of student loan lenders. In the first half, he discussed how the student loan debt keeps ballooning to unprecedented levels (now at $1.5 trillion) and why the government may start cracking down on those who are in default. Colleges keep raising their fees, and the average student is spending more than four years in school, and ending up owing $37,000 upon graduation.

The underlying problem, he pointed out, is that student loans, "unlike every other loan in this nation, have been stripped of the most fundamental consumer protections you can imagine. There are no bankruptcy protections...there are no statutes of limitations." And further, he revealed that the middleman companies that collect on the loans, actually make more far more money when the loan goes into default, leading to a kind of weaponized debt, where the fees keep piling up. We are headed toward a critical mass, he added, where about ¼ of all student loan borrowers will default.

For the past 25 years James Van Praagh has used his powerful paranormal experiences to help people bridge the gap between the Earth plane and other worlds. In the latter half, he spoke about the benefits and rewards of having a conscious relationship with spirit guides. We have guides with us for many lifetimes, and some that are with us just for this life, or during a certain phase or project, he cited. Interestingly, he noted, that the guides are evolving too and their work with us helps them along their path.

In between lives, master entities assign guides to work with us in our next lives, he explained. Van Praagh has seen guides in different forms and characters, and suggests that to tune into them one has to raise their own frequency to match theirs. He recommended repeating a meditative technique to learn more about your guides: Close your eyes, and work with your breath. Ask your spirit guides to step behind you. Then, write down on paper who the guides are and what kind of energy they have.
