Numerology of 2020 / Lucid Dreaming Techniques

About the show

Numerologist Glynis McCants is an expert in how patterns of events unfold according to the energy signature of specific numbers. In the first half, she discussed the dramatic ways this year's cycle of "4" will play out for not only world leaders and celebrities, but for each of our individual lives. The double twos of 2020 promote our inner voice, she said, and being a "4" year (2 + 0 + 2 + 0 = 4), it's a time to seek knowledge and regroup from the previous decade. 2020, she continued, is an excellent year to assess our relationships, career, and life, and offers fresh energy to make significant changes. With the start of January, we all shifted into a new personal year cycle (the number is determined by adding the month and date of your birthday to the world number 4).

2020 will be about transformation, as well as justice and transparency, moving past the years of smoke and mirrors, she continued. Regarding the tragic accidental shootdown of the Ukrainian jetliner in Iran, McCants noted that the flight number and calendar date break down to an "8," which she considers a problematic number for air travel. President Trump has entered a personal year of "6," she reported, which is a better cycle for him than last year but "he must be careful not to sabotage this cycle by being unwilling to compromise." Regarding the Democratic candidates, she revealed that Elizabeth Warren enters a "5" cycle, which could be tough for her, while Joe Biden's numerology includes a double "2" that shows sensitivity in reaching people, and helps explain his lead. Saturday, January 25th, Glynis will be presenting a special workshop on maximizing the power of numerology in 2020.

Speaker, artist, and contributor to Lucid Dream Research magazine, Ian Jaydid, has nearly 30 years of experience with lucid dreaming, astral projection, and meditation. In the latter half, he spoke about how lucid dreaming and out-of-body states can be intertwined, and offered techniques and practices to connect to a larger, more dynamic view of our place in the cosmos. Lucid dreaming (becoming aware that you're dreaming within a dream) changes the experience of one's consciousness, as we disengage from the standard narrative or plotline of a regular dream. And, he added, some of the lucid experiences can feel more real and memorable than waking events.

His preferred method of recognizing he's in a dream (and achieving lucidity) is to stare at one of his hands, which will begin to morph or shape-shift, and that is the confirmation that he's dreaming. He described how he uses lucidity as a springboard for astral projection, and was later able to confirm that the scenes he was viewing of friends and family were actually taking place in the physical world. Jaydid talked about the possibility of running into negative astral entities while out of body such as Shadow People, and suggested that some of these beings' traits may be projections from our subconscious and archetypal memories. He also detailed one particularly unnerving episode during astral travel, when he saw two versions of himself at the same time.
