Alternative Health / Speaking with Spirits

About the show

In the first half, Dr. Joel Wallach discussed alternative health approaches and the benefits of remedies and supplements that aid in the body's recovery from many diseases and ailments. He suggested that the reason fewer people from Asian countries are getting sick from COVID has to do with their diet, which is lower in gluten than the US. Wallach believes that gluten products damage the intestines and the ability to absorb nutrients, which in turn weakens the immune response. Regarding the COVID vaccination, those who are older may have varied reactions to it, he indicated. They'll potentially have a better result from the vaccine if they've been eating a non-gluten diet for years, he added.

Regarding supplements and foods to combat muscle pain, he recommended eating eggs daily, and taking MSM, which helps support connective tissue, cartilage, and bone. Further, a CBD cream can be applied directly to areas on the body for localized pain relief, he said. Speaking about atrial fibrillation (Afib), in which a person has rapid or irregular heartbeats, he believes it's not related to heart disease, but instead brought on by an osteoporosis-like condition in which the cranial nerve is squeezed.

Clairvoyant medium Kim Dennis has spent years helping people talk to the Other Side in her private readings and radio appearances. In the latter half, she revealed how she came to accept her calling as a medium, and shared messages that she's received from spirits to help people overcome feelings of loss and despair. Her otherworldly experiences began as a teenager when she would have frequent and spontaneous out-of-body journeys. On a couple of these OBEs, she traveled to a heavenly realm, where she saw her deceased grandparents who appeared in good health, as well as colors that don't exist in our physical realm. Later, as a young mother, she began to receive clairvoyant and precognitive messages.

She eventually specialized in communications with the dearly departed, and has served as a consultant in criminal cases and disappearances. In one recent case, a woman's husband went missing in Louisiana, and she contacted Dennis for help. She directed the wife to a trail behind her house, and to look for a rusted-out truck down the path. It was near the truck, where the husband's body was recovered, said Dennis. One message that the dead often wish to convey to the living is that they are still with us-- "that they're not as gone as we think that they are." She tries to present this realization to clients as a natural aspect of our existence, rather than something spooky. During the last hour, she gave readings for callers, who asked about their deceased loved ones.
