Dr. Laurie Nadel is a psychotherapist and consultant specializing in PTSD and trauma. On the front lines of the COVID 19 pandemic she has been leading online support groups for Miami Dade Firefighters who are suffering with long COVID; and for the Pulmonary Wellness Foundation. Both groups provide psychological first aid for dealing with the long term psychological issues of living with chronic illness and meditation to help patients discover how COVID can become a sacred illness and opportunity for spiritual growth.
An expert in disaster mental health who worked with first responders and teachers after the Parkland school shooting in 2018, Dr. Laurie previously ran a long-term program for teenagers whose fathers were killed in the September 11th attacks on the World Trade Center. After losing her own home to Hurricane Sandy in 2012, she ran several support programs for people in her community who were traumatized by the catastrophic losses. Author of the four-time best-seller "Sixth Sense; Unlocking Your Ultimate Mind Power" she has studied with shamans, mediums, and veterans of the Pentagon's secret remote viewing program.
