False Flags/ Open Lines

About the show

Filling in for George Noory, guest host Jimmy Church (email) welcomed author, researcher, and publisher Richard Dolan for a discussion about his latest work on 'false flag' operations and who's behind them. False flags are typically viewed as clandestine operations done by government institutions to further an agenda of those in power, Dolan explained. "I see false flags as a bit more nuanced than I did when I started diving into the research," he said. Soft, or ideological, false flags, such as the war on terror, involve creating an enemy for the public to fear, and using it to create greater power and wealth for a particular group, Dolan revealed.

According to Dolan, false flag operations are not unusual and are fundamentally a modern phenomenon. "It's only in the modern era that we have anything like a mass media... governments that have effective control largely over that mass media and... highly skilled teams of covert operatives," he noted. Most people will accept the mainstream media's narrative of a given event, Dolan added, pointing out the United States has conducted deceptive operations against numerous nations.

For false flag skeptics, Dolan cited Operation Northwoods (1962), a DoD scheme proposed as a pretext for an invasion of Cuba in order to overthrow the Castro regime. Among the nefarious items in Operation Northwoods was a plan to kill astronaut John Glenn during a launch, destroy a US ship in Guantanamo Bay, sink boats of Cuban refugees, and execute terror campaigns in major US cities, Dolan reported. False flags operations are in the official playbook of the US military and intelligence community, he disclosed, suggesting one could be used against North Korea. "War in Korea is not something that anyone ought to want," he advised.

Open Lines followed in the latter half of the program. Moses in Tallahassee, Florida, talked about a set of Egyptian carvings which appear to show electric lights and airborne machines. "In the Temple of Seti I, there seems to be flying vehicles, especially helicopters, and what seems to look like a B52 transport vehicle, and this hover craft or land glider," he said. Moses suggested flying machines may have been used in the construction of the pyramids.

Mike from Reno, Nevada, questioned the 9-11 conspiracy. As Mike sees it, there would have been too many people involved in the operation, and the goal of greater globalization does not seem like sufficient motivation. A caller in San Francisco proposed the evidence is strong that the World Trade Center towers were brought down by a controlled demolition, and the event itself is part of biblical prophecy. "As a Christian, I really believe... that 9-11 was the Sixth Trumpet [from the Book of Revelation]," he said.
