Search for ET Intelligence / Animal Personalities

About the show

In the first half, senior astronomer at SETI Seth Shostak spoke about his continued work in the search for extraterrestrial intelligence, new ways to make contact with ETs, and all things astronomy-related. SETI has grown larger in recent times, he reported. Radio SETI has the Breakthrough Listen program run out of UC-Berkeley, which uses large radio telescopes from "West Virginia to Australia." Their goal is to look at a million star systems, something they hope to accomplish by 2030. UC-Berkeley also hosts SETI's SERENDIP program, which retrieves data from a large radio antenna out of China.

Thanks to a donation, the SETI Institute is upgrading the Allen Telescope Array and will conduct unique experiments, he continued, and Optical SETI is engaged in looking for laser flashes that might indicate extraterrestrial life. If aliens built huge artifacts that could be observed, that might prove to be a more reliable way to discover their presence as opposed to radio and light signals that are transitory, he commented. He explained how the theoretical engineering project known as a Dyson sphere would work. A civilization could take an unused moon or space object and convert it into a massive solar power collector to provide planetary energy. Shostak also gave an update on the soon-to-be-launched James Webb Space Telescope, which is intended to be parked on the far side of the moon.

In the latter half, gifted animal communicator and energetic healer Coryelle Kramer discussed her communications with a multitude of creatures and the six types of personalities she has cataloged among them. "Animals touch our hearts because they are pure unconditional love," she said. "They are what I call Christ-like consciousness," she added, and that is why they can give us constant love and acceptance. Through her longtime work with pets and animals, she learned how they fit into various core temperaments. By understanding which category an animal falls into, she noted that humans can adapt their interactions with them accordingly and potentially eliminate or reduce unwanted behaviors.

Each of the personality types has positive and negative aspects, Kramer shared. For instance, animals of the Direct & Demanding archetype are bold and perceive themselves as caretakers and guardians but don't take no for an answer very well. The Energetic or Empathic archetype is very sensitive to the energy of people, places, and situations, and may respond positively to a stranger because of their energy. The Rulebreaker/Innovator archetype makes you think outside of the box and are fearless and smart. They may prefer unusual toys or food. The Pacifist archetype loves to snuggle and savor life but can be hesitant. The Shifter/Chameleon archetype switches from one dynamic to another, and the Transcendent Archetype favors connection, calmness, and relaxation, she detailed.
